a series that chronicled the evolution of music and culture since the breakthrough invention of audio recording by Thomas Edison in 1877 .
Pascal, with Capsule Media, has collaborated with entertainment legends Quincy Jones, Lenny Kravitz, Paul Simon, B.B King, Norah Jones, Clint Eastwood, Phil Spector, Les Paul, among many others. Music resonates within Capsule’s walls, from R.E.A.L Change, a CBS series addressing the challenges in our education system with participation from Pitbull, Justin Bieber and Jason Mraz, to Grammy Nominated PBS concert documentary “An Evening with Dave Grusin". Capsule Media has been home for many Discovery Communication productions, delivering 4 seasons of Shark Week’s “Day of the Shark”, “Disaster on K2”, "Fender Empire”, “Mudaholics”, and others in the non-scripted content category, being awarded Best Documentary for “Fatboy: The Movie” in two prestigious film festivals.
Pascal and Capsule Media are also known for producing sponsored long and short form content for A list commercial brands, such as Hewlett Packard, Ford, T-Mobile, Mastercard, Lowes, Walgreens, winning many advertising awards through the years.

Pascal is a Paris-born film and television director/producer who was immersed in the entertainment world from a young age due to his upbringing in the music industry. Relocating to Los Angeles at nine, Pascal was surrounded by musical legends, from studio sessions with icons like Steely Dan, The Police, and casual home life experiences with legends such as Bob Dylan. Starting as a classical piano musical student, Pascal then transitioned to drums in his teenage years, immersing himself in the 1980s Paris music scene. His passion with music production took hold and his journey led him to become an acclaimed engineer and producer with a focus on Central African pop music.
Upon return to Los Angeles a new chapter unfolded in Pascal's career as he ventured into the realm of moving pictures. Starting as a sound designer, his fascination for audiovisual storytelling blossomed, and by the late '90s Pascal had moved to Miami where founded Capsule Media in 2001, quickly becoming a staple in the local production scene.
Pascal's career includes Emmy and Grammy nominations, he co-created and directed "A Tiny Audience" on HBO, an Emmy-nominated music series now in its third season. He also co-produced "Recording - The History of Recorded Music" for PBS with Quincy Jones, a seven-part documentary series exploring the impact of music and culture since Thomas Edison's breakthrough invention of the phonograph cylinder, giving birth to audio recording in 1877.
